The physicians at Greenwich Gynecology have provided women’s health care to the Greenwich and the surrounding communities in Connecticut and New York for over 50 continuous years since the practice was founded in 1963. It has rich history extending over the past four decades. In the 1960s one of its associates Dr. John Queenan did the first amniocentesis in the United States for diagnosis and treatment of Rh disease. In 1981 Dr. Edward Jacobson introduced internal fetal monitoring and fetal pH testing for improved obstetrical care. In the mid-1980s Dr. Amen Ness and Dr. Jacobson introduced operative hysteroscopy for operating within the uterus. Dr. Carine Klein made us the first women’s practice in Greenwich to offer nutritional and herbal alternatives for alleviation and treatment of PMS, menstrual irregularities and menopausal symptoms.
